Rachel Swan
Rachel Swan creates original and contemporary hollow formed jewellery, hand-made from sterling silver. Taking inspiration from modern architecture, she uses repeated geometric shapes to create wearable structures and forms.
Swan’s new collection includes a series of three-dimensional Cube and Orb pendants, and a set of rings and earrings incorporating freshwater pearls. This work sees the introduction of 18ct gold for the first time in Swan’s work. Each piece is produced with a high quality satin finish, making it easy and comfortable to wear.
Swan studied craft at the Liberties College, Dublin and went on to take an apprenticeship with Alan Ardiff. She set up her own business in 2008, and is now based at RuaRed in Tallaght, Dublin.
